Teddy is an Atlanta-based award-winning artist who specializes in contemporary figure drawing paintings. In both his expressive and vibrant works, Teddy has devoted himself to capturing the beauty of the human figure. Using his medium of choice, acrylics, and his acid-free canvas, he continues to explore a realm of fluidity. His enthusiasm for working with colorful hues inspired him to create shapes. With languorous strokes, elegance, dash, and curves, his work gives a feeling of completeness, and mastery, yet leaves the viewers intrigued. Thus teasing the imagination where everything is alive with a sense of everlasting fluid motion like a long fluid line in a symphony.
A self-taught artist, Teddy learned from mistakes, practice, and successes. Being an artist is at the heart of his soul. Teddy believes art chose him either with the gentle stroke of a paintbrush or a beautiful puddle of paint. As an avid artist, he strives to move his viewer in a way that transforms their day or mood into something positive and inspiring. Beyond eliciting emotional responses, Teddy aims to capture a moment in time and find beauty in life through his art. A health-conscious, Teddy lives an active lifestyle swimming and working out regularly. But also, he believes in living life to the fullest. He stays inspired by surrounding himself with music, literature, and movies, and by cultivating his own everyday experiences.
